Our Family Advent/Christmas Tree(A Simplified Jesse Tree)

This resource includes a letter introducing a simplified Jesse Tree-style practice, 6 corresponding images & prompts for families to enter into throughout the Advent season, as well as a smaller, printable version for those who want to keep it even more simple.

This Family Christmas Tree was inspired by the traditional Jesse Tree and many years of falling "behind" on elaborate family Advent devotionals that were impossible to keep up with during the busy Advent season.

This tree tells the Christmas story beginning with creation and following Jesus' family tree all the way through to the role we play in it today, yet it only has SIX pieces/prompts and none of the pieces correlate with a specific day or schedule. This is meant to be used by families and/or classes in whatever way will serve them and at whatever pace will serve them.
